Renewal Process

• Take the renewal application form, which you may download and complete, to the Motor Vehicles office closest to you.
• Provide at least one proof of your Yukon residency and your previous Yukon driver’s license.
• Take your corrective lenses for a vision test if you wear them.
• Pay the $50 renewal charge with cash, a debit or a credit card.
• Five more years will be added to your license.
• In the event of a delay, you will receive a temporary license suitable for 90 days.
• Up to six months before your present Yukon driver’s license expires.
• Within two years after the expiration of your most recent Yukon driver’s license.
