If you have held a learner’s permit for at least 18 consecutive months, you may apply for a full driver’s license in Yukon. But you have to accomplish that without breaking any laws. If there is a violation, applying for a complete driver’s license in Yukon will take longer.

You can become eligible for a Class 5 license, which allows you to drive without restrictions everywhere in the Yukon, after passing the Yukon Learners and Yukon Novice stages.

The exam costs $20. If you fail to pass the written exam the first time, you can retake it for $20 the following day. Bring two pieces of identification showing your Yukon residency and your full legal name, date of birth, picture, and signature.

Yukon Road Testing You must pass an on-road Yukon driving exam to receive your Yukon Class 5 novice car driver’s license or your Yukon Class 6 novice motorcycle driver’s license. Every driving test must be scheduled with the Yukon government department in charge of issuing driver licenses in the territory.

You can take the Yukon written knowledge test, often known as the learner’s license test, at any Yukon Motor Vehicle Office. The knowledge exam is accessible in five languages, including French and English. Contact the local motor vehicle office to find out which languages are accepted in your area.
