Below are some of the program’s requirements:
  • The minimum age requirement is 16.
  • If you are new to driving, you must pass the written, visual, and road exams.
  • Teenagers under 19 must get parental or guardian permission and achieve or surpass the 85% passing grade on the written test.
  • Questions about following traffic laws, being a safe driver, and identifying road signs are also part of the test.
Further details on the GDL NL program are provided below:
  • Drivers who seek a class 5 or class 6 license should enrol in the program. Motorcycles are under class 6, whereas light trucks and passenger cars go under class 5.
  • It’s intended to assist drivers in learning the skill and safely operating motor vehicles, particularly inexperienced drivers. The first two years saw a progressive improvement in driving privileges.
  • No of their age, all drivers can take the course.
  • You are regarded as a novice when you reach Level I or II.
